Born amidst the challenges of Apartheid in Cape Town, South Africa, Jonathan Butler is a musical legend. As the youngest of 11 siblings, his extraordinary talent shone through early. At just 12 years old, he released his debut album, earning the prestigious South African Grammy for Best New Artist! 🎤✨

His groundbreaking achievements continued as he became the first Black artist played on white South African radio and amassed three gold records, including the beloved hits “I Love How You Love Me” and “Please Stay.” Butler later moved to London, where his international debut went gold and he received Grammy® nominations for his stellar songs “Lies” and “Going Home.”

His latest release, Ubuntu, produced by the renowned Marcus Miller, hit the shelves in March 2023, marking a continuation of his vibrant legacy. Today, he stands as a musical icon not only in South Africa but worldwide. 🌍🎸
