This year, to help you overcome that sinking feeling after having marched in the Vappu day parade and seeing your step count somewhere in the low thousands, Kaiku lends you a helping hand. The doors at Kaiku will be open for a cool 30 hours, beginning at 22:00 on Thursday, on the eve of Vappu, and closing in the early hours of Saturday, at 04:00. During this gargantuan marathon, there will be three dancefloors for your sweaty pleasure; both rooms one and two of Kaiku as well as Kuudes Linja, where Lil Tony’s beloved DARKROOM concept has been passed over to new and capable hands.

Throughout the bacchanal, room one is helmed by the ecstatic expertise of Herrensauna legends CEM and MCMLXXXV, the boundless cosmic seeker Paquita Gordon, and a jaw-grinding selection of local b2b musical gifts. And in the dark realm of Kutonen, your eyes give way to psychedelic guidance from the mastermind behind the Kalahari Oyster Cult, Rey Colino, joined by local mystic visionaries Sansibar and Carlina Carpelan. The first day of room two sees the mighty Gabber Eleganza return to Kaiku after eight years. On day two, you’ll be in the loving hands of Helsinki heartthrobs and hellraisers Hitoshi and Justus. Come together as one and we can discover the wonders of this mysterious rabbit hole opening up.
