Murder at the Gaslight -An Immersive 1930s Murder Mystery Supporting Summer Meals for Local Children

Join us for Mystery at the Gaslight, an immersive experience set in the enchanting 1930s, designed to intrigue and entertain while supporting a noble cause! 🎭✨
All proceeds go directly to The Table Food Truck, an initiative by First Christian Church Ministries, dedicated to providing free meals to children in low-income communities. When summer break approaches, many children lose access to the reliable meals they receive at school, and this fundraiser aims to bridge that gap by ensuring they continue to receive nourishing food during the summer months. Together, we can prevent hunger from becoming part of their summer story. 🌞🍽️

What to Expect:

Step back in time and immerse yourself in a world of whispered conversations, hidden dealings, and elegant intrigue. Mystery at the Gaslight is a Prohibition-era adventure where each guest is encouraged to fully embody the spirit of the evening.
Dress Code: 1930s-inspired attire is required! Think tailored suits, evening dresses, fedoras, gloves, and vintage accessories. The right outfit will enhance the evening's captivating atmosphere. 🕵️‍♂️👗

Evening Timeline:

• 6:00 – 7:00 PM | Cocktail Hour
  Guests in full 1930s attire enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres:

  • Roasted poblano, caper & cotija crostini
  • Classic deviled eggs
  • Mushroom duxelles & roasted garlic tartlet
  • Eggplant caponata with pine nuts

• 7:00 – 8:00 PM | Dinner Buffet
  Indulge in a curated buffet dinner featuring:

  • Dinner rolls with chive & honey butter
  • Garden salad
  • Roast beef with red wine jus & horseradish cream
  • Wine-braised chicken in creamed mushroom jus
  • Haricot verts in romesco
  • Mixed grilled vegetables
  • Potato gratin
  • Herbed rice pilaf
  • Assorted desserts 🍰

  As dinner concludes, the atmosphere darkens and excitement builds! Clues emerge while guests question each other and uncover hidden truths, leading to a dramatic final reveal. 🔍

Ticket Options:

Two ways to join the mystery:

• Character Role – $150
  Fully immerse yourself with a pre-assigned character, including a background folder filled with secrets. Only 25 available, so secure yours early! Your character folder will be available one week prior to the event.
• Town Folk – $100
  Enjoy the intrigue as a townsperson, observing and collecting clues without playing a specific role. 50 tickets available.
