Join us for Music in the Stacks featuring the sensational trio, Whorled! This event promises a fun and lively experience for all ages. With support from 88.1 FM WYCE, we celebrate both emerging and established talents!

🎵 About Whorled:
Described as “a road trip for the ears” by Local Spins, Whorled blends diverse influences from Celtic, bluegrass, French café, and jazz to create a globally inspired sound. The trio, which consists of guitarist and didgeridoo player Thom Jayne, fiddler Keala Venema, and accordionist Mariko Venema, was formed during a chance meeting at an Irish music session. They began crafting their unique fusion style during the COVID lockdown.

Now in their fourth year, Whorled has captured the hearts of Michigan’s music fans, winning two Jammie Awards for their debut album Reimagined, with three tracks making the WYCE Top 100 Spins of the year!
