🎶 Nordiska Röster: A Celebration of Nordic Choral Music 🎶
Join us for a memorable evening at Storkyrkan, featuring distinguished choirs from Denmark and Norway alongside the renowned S:t Jacobs Vokalensemble.
Conductor Jonas Rasmussen leads Akademisk Kor Århus, one of Denmark's premier amateur choirs, established in 1985. Expect dynamic performances of:
- Bo Holten's Nordisk Suite
- Edvard Grieg's Guds sønn har gjort meg fri from Fire salmer
- Knut Nystedt’s Father in Heaven from Prayers of Kierkegaard
- Arr. Henrik Ødegaard's Telemarkspringar
- Jan Sandström's Vuojnha Biegga
- Sven-David Sandström’s Komm, Jesu, komm
- Nana Forte’s En Ego Campana
- Henry Purcell/Sven-David Sandström’s Hear my prayer
- J.S. Bach/Knut Nystedt’s Immortal Bach

🔥 Experience the fusion of tradition and modern interpretations through Nordic harmonies. The choirs will unite in the grand piece Hear My Prayer, O Lord, where Sandström beautifully weaves Purcell's music into rich soundscapes.
