North Star Voices: Cafesjian’s Carousel - History in Motion

Join us for an enchanting exploration of history at Cafesjian’s Carousel! 🎠
The iconic carousel, from the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, once graced the Minnesota State Fair for 75 years (1914-1989). Saved from being auctioned off by the dedicated group Our Fair Carousel Inc., it now stands as a Minnesota gem in Como Park, Saint Paul.

🌟 Tracy Tolzmann, President of Our Fair Carousel, will guide you through its vibrant past, showcasing its 68 unique carved wooden horses and the intricate mechanism behind its charm. Plus, enjoy the delightful sounds of the legendary Wurlitzer 153 Band Organ—the timeless “Voice of the Carousel.”

Tracy is not only a carousel advocate but also a collector of vintage street and carousel organs, actively participating in multiple antique music clubs.
