Old Man of Coniston: A Grand Scale Trail

🌄 Join us for an unforgettable journey on the iconic Coniston Old Man!

Get ready for a thrilling 10-mile / 16km circular hike that takes you to the summit of Coniston Old Man, standing tall at 802 meters! This trail is a must-do Wainwright adventure, offering breathtaking views and rewarding experiences.

Starting just outside Coniston, we'll navigate around the base of the 'Old Man', ascend to Brown Pike and Dow Crag, before descending to Goats Hause. Our path then leads us to the ridge of Brim Fell, and finally to the top of Coniston Old Man. We'll make our descent via the scenic 'tourist track' through historical quarries and mining areas, bringing us back to the village.

• Moderate to hard difficulty, no scrambling required.
• Led by a qualified and experienced Mountain Leader who will provide guidance and support throughout the journey.
