Daniel Lopatin, known as Oneohtrix Point Never, invites you into a world of auditory exploration with his latest album Tranquilizer. Rather than dulling the senses, his innovative soundscape pushes ambient music into unexpected realms of digital chaos. Drawing inspiration from the vast archives of the Internet, he combines elements from commercial sample CDs to create sound that blurs the line between the palpable and the ethereal.
“I wanted to capture the emotional register of an era where everything is archived but perpetually slipping away,” says Lopatin. With a rich portfolio, including soundtracks for acclaimed films like Uncut Gems and Good Time, as well as collaborations with artists such as James Blake, Charli XCX, and Nine Inch Nails, Lopatin is a true visionary in electronic music.
During this unique performance, he will be joined by the exceptional visual artistry of Freeka Tet, adding another layer to this unforgettable experience.
