🌟 OPEN CALL: POSTCARD EXHIBITION – Hälsningar från / Greetings From

An image accompanied by an address. This object serves as both artwork and message, passing through hands, being sorted, stamped, and traveling across distances. When sent by mail, its journey becomes a part of the artwork—time, transport, and materiality leave traces behind.

Centrum för fotografi invites photographers and visual artists to participate in a group exhibition in Gothenburg where all works are showcased in postcard format. Here, the postcard is recognized as an independent artistic form, designed to travel the world before arriving at the exhibition space.

With our move to a new location in Gothenburg, this first exhibition allows artworks to journey here, expanding the opening beyond Gothenburg and gathering contributions locally, nationally, and internationally. Through the postal service, various geographies and practices converge in a collective presentation. This exhibition opens doors where each postcard acts as a link between different locations, practices, and people—a miniature network visible in the exhibition room.

Who can participate?
This open call is available to everyone, both members and non-members, from all corners of the globe. We welcome diverse photographic practices and perspectives. The only requirement is the format: a postcard.

How to participate?
– Create a photographic work in postcard format
– Sign the postcard with your name on the back
