  🎼 About the Work:
  "Osud" is Janáček's fourth opera, created between 1903 and 1907 based on his own libretto (together with Fedore Bartošová). The opera's story is inspired by a real-life event from the summer in Luhačovice – composer Janáček captures the life of a young woman named Kamila, who inspired a tragic love story. Although written in 1907, the opera premiered posthumously – first broadcasted in 1934 and then staged for the first time (premiere in Brno) in 1958.
