kəyk is overjoyed to announce their next outing at OHM Berlin, on Apr 2nd.

For this momentous occasion, we invite a stalwart breakbeat legend to the space for a LIVE set for the books… those who were in Globus on 1st April 2023 know.. Paradox is back with another Amiga LIVE PA show. For the kəyk community, this LIVE in 2023 was a piece of history, and now we look to the future to bring this LIVE set within the intimate walls of OHM.

Dev Pandya is a certified breakbeat addict with a vinyl production career spanning 30 years. Having first released back in 1992, he’s since amassed a back catalogue of 10 vinyl albums and 200 12” singles on leading drum and bass labels including Moving Shadow, 4 Hero’s Reinforced, LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking, Hospital and Metalheadz. Alongside Paradox on the night will be friend and Tresor Resident, Nadia Struiwigh, showcasing the broken side of her repertoire with a specially crafted Jungle Set.

Nadia is a Dutch electronic musician, DJ and live performer whose work moves between ambient depth, jungle energy and hypnotic techno. Working primarily with hardware, she shapes sound through intuition, texture and emotional urgency, shifting fluidly from meditative space to rhythmic release.

Her releases span labels such as Central Processing Unit, Nous’klaer Audio, Dekmantel, Blueprint and Tresor, reflecting a practice that holds both atmospheric sound design and dancefloor pressure. Rotterdam roots and Berlin presence inform her approach: direct, human, raw, and always in motion.

Opening the night will be kəyk crew members Aaronovsky & Aezron present a special 3hr hybrid journey, first using their samplers and sirens to create vast and dubby soundscapes, followed by a raffinate selection of records to introduce to the floor. 

Advocates of experimentation within a DJ booth; they share a deep fascination & nurture a deep appreciation of soundsystem culture through their work in the scene.

On closing duties for the night we present another very special affair. THF Radio hosts Don’t Rush On A Wonk bring a live and direct airing of their show to OHM, featuring special guests in the form of the original Bass Mate Bakläxa, Dubplate Specialist DJ Chromz and Dancefloor Diamond DJ Flounce. 

For those who have not experienced a DROAW show live and direct at THF’s HQ at Torhaus, this is not one to miss. You can expect a vinyl focussed outing of rare cuts, after hours gems and a celebration of friendship within sound. 

Due to it being Easter Friday the next day, OHM will be staying open later than the 6am closing usually associated with Thursday nights. 

This is not a drill, morning antics in OHM hosted by some absolute after-hour specialists. 

There will be some special treats at the bar for the early riser crew - you, you and you know what to do.
