✨ Join us for an exciting journey through history at Powder House Day, presented by the Wallingford Historical Society! 📜

On April 25, 2026, immerse yourself in the events of April 19, 1775, when the Colonial Minute Men stood against British Regulars in Lexington, igniting the American Revolution. By April 22nd, thousands of men rallied to the Lexington Alarm, with 101 men from Wallingford preparing for their march to Boston. Highlighting this reenactment are significant figures like Captain Benedict Arnold, who, alongside his troops, rallied for the cause fueled by a dire need for ammunition from the King’s Powder House. 🚶‍♂️💨

Event Schedule:

• 10:00 AM: March of the 2nd Company Governors Foot Guard and special guests departs the Parsons House to receive a blessing at the Congregational Church.
• March to Town Hall to demand the keys to the Powder House. 🔑🎭
• Ceremony featuring historical insights and conclusions at Parsons House, showcasing artifacts from the era.
