Practical Philosophy is an engaging weekly meetup designed for critical thinkers looking to dive into fascinating topics, enhance communication skills, and foster a sense of community. No prior philosophy knowledge is necessary! 😎

The essence of Practical Philosophy is to make philosophical discussions accessible to everyone, moving beyond academia. Each week, we select a thought-provoking topic and utilize conversation to sharpen our critical thinking and communicative abilities while exploring it.

Our aim is to enrich our Critical Thinking, Communication, and Community! 🙌

📓 HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each session features a designated topic shared in our WhatsApp group, along with discussion prompts to kick off conversations.

When attendance exceeds 7-8 participants, we transition into smaller groups to maintain a dynamic conversational flow, avoiding a lecture-like atmosphere.

General Meeting Agenda:

• 19:00-19:15: Arrival and informal chatting for attendees to connect.
• 19:15-19:25: Meeting kick-off, introduction to Practical Philosophy, explanation of the week's topic, and overview of guidelines and timeline expectations.
• 19:25-20:45: Break into smaller groups for introductions and open discussions on the topic, using the provided prompts as needed.
• 20:45-21:00: Reconvene as a whole for a recap of group discussions, with each group sharing a one-minute summary. The organizer wraps up the meetup with a group photo.
• 21:00: Official meeting concludes.
