About the event

We’re beyond excited to present you for Beboerhuset's two-day music festival, Punch! 6 acts based in Copenhagen representing the local experimental and noisy underground scene. This festival might be intimate in size, but it’s bursting with big personalities and even bigger sound, punching above it's weight. Expect the unexpected — an unconventional, experimental vibe driven by a bold ambition to reach across borders, blend genres, and move both shores and souls.

Line up 10/4: Tehran / abji_hypersun / DJ CUNT
Behind TEHRAN stands the unruly Irani–Swedish artist formerly known as Nadia Tehran — a figure who, over the past years, has slipped from the glamorous scene of the Scandinavian music industry and into the shadow-zones of Nordic mythmaking. TEHRAN has become less a name than a presence: a rumor, invoked, glimpsed in passing. What was once a straightforward follow-up to their groundbreaking 2019 debut DOZAKH: All lovers hell has, in the span of two years, transformed into something stranger — an artifact that disappeared before ever released.
In early 2024 TEHRAN announced the visual album HUSQVARNA, to be released on their own label, Inherited Void. The first single DELAM GEREFTEH dropped, but the album never arrived. Instead, it dissolved into speculation and ritual, becoming a kind of a tale — the lost tapes. Some speak of it echoing across the ocean waves from the ruins of the S/S Castor shipwreck in Sjællands Odde last summer, others recall a gloomy night in Den Grå Hal when TEHRAN performed in near darkness, as if summoning the album from another plane. Wherever these songs emerge, they take on the weight of apparition: fleeting, feral, intangible. HUSQVARNA — like the shortened moniker itself — channels the multitudes that they have always carried: raw grief, rage, serrated joy and the will to break through structures designed to contain. Amid dissonant nu-metal guitars, industrial atmospheres and programmed blast-beats, their voice shifts between Swedish, English and Farsi — screaming, growling and softening into melodic confession. The lyrics trace depression, addiction and loss, but from these depths rises an uncompromising insistence on transcendence. What survives from this vanished work is the essence of TEHRAN’s rebirth. And rumor has it, that there is a new chapter being written.

abji_hypersun is the moniker of Simin Stine Ramezanali (DK/IR/DE) – drummer, vocalist, and visual artist. They are known as a member of the experimental doom/art-rock trio SLIM0, electronic duo abolish i and operarolepay band spellchestra .Their sound is extracting and distorting cultural clichés, weaving together the operatic, the tragic, and the comical. abji's world moves fluidly between beauty and humor, the unsettling and the loud – inhabiting a space suspended between nightmare and dream.

DJ CUNT
Their DJ sets seem to be an endless non-binary melting pot of genres, with a deep passion for and solid roots in underground music. In their own compositions and collaborations, they create worlds that invite stories focused on unlimited chaos, love and pain.

Line up 11/4: Soap Horse / Music by Idiot / Mary Ane's Polar Rig
Soap Horse
The band Soap Horse is a unique amalgamation of country and experimental rock from the Copenhagen underground. With Hans Gustav Björklund Moulvad as singer, guitarist and songwriter, Soap Horse moves undisturbed between grandiose orchestral arrangements and minimalist country-flavored spaces. In an eclectic and intense universe, pedal steel, violins and saxophones swirl around lyrics that are at once surreal and sensitive. Soap Horse's music feels like a continuously expanding and collapsing pulse outside of time and place. Soap Horse is based between London and Copenhagen, where Hans Gustav has collaborated with John Parish (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding) and Mikko Gordon (The Smile, IDLES). These collaborations have resulted in the debut EP 'Tooth Inside A Tooth' which was released in 2025.
Soap Horse opened as a solo artist for The Raveonettes on their US tour in 2024 and has since performed throughout Europe and the UK, including as support for Elias Rønnenfeldt, Baby In Van and Alan Sparhawk (Low). Soap Horse also debuted at Roskilde Festival in 2025, with a star-studded band from the Copenhagen alternative scene to a cavalcade of critical acclaim.

Music by Idiot (Anders Rex)
Under the name Music By Idiot, Anders Rex presents an intimate and stripped-down version of the band Music By Idiots. As a soloist, he reinterprets songs from the back catalogue, the debut album Tiden Lyver (2022) as well as brand new material from the upcoming album. It is music created in the present, carried by the realization: Yes everything is falling – and in the fall we live The shift to the Danish mother tongue has been an artistic revelation for Rex. By removing the linguistic filters, both voice and lyrics have blossomed into a deeply personal universe that moves in emotional overdrive. Th
