What’s New for 2026:

• 🥳 Afterparty at Newark Castle - Celebrate after the race!
• 🚐 Transportation Provided - Buses and vans will transport you and your gear from Newark Castle to Welbeck Hall on race day, making it easy for those who want to leave their cars in Newark for the festivities.

New Team Categories:

• Team Relay: 2 Paddlers – One from Nottingham to Gunthorpe, and the other from Gunthorpe to Newark Lock, paddling together in "The Royal Finish" (Any ISUP).
• Team Event: Gather your friends, club, or family and paddle the full route together (Any ISUP).

Registration is at Welbeck Hall, Nottingham, on event morning from 05:30 - 08:00 according to your wave start time.

Experience the longest one-way downriver race in the UK, covering 40km through the stunning Trent Valley. #R2TC is a bucket-list paddleboarding event celebrating strength, strategy, and courage.

This cool and inclusive event invites all paddlers, whether you enter solo, with friends, or as part of a SUP Club. Choose between categories: adventure (for more time) or competitive race categories based on board length.

Event Highlights:

• 🎖️ Every finisher receives an R2TC Medal!
• 👑 The top 3 fastest male and female paddlers will be crowned Kings and Queens of the river!
• ⚡ Join fellow adventurers ready to challenge themselves and share unforgettable stories.
