🎶 Are you a fan of romantic classics? Join us for an enchanting concert featuring the Szent István Philharmonic!
✨ This evening will be hosted by the teenage genius Mendelssohn and the slightly younger, yet equally captivating Max Bruch. Mendelssohn's early travels across Europe, particularly his time in England, inspired his iconic piece, the Hebrides Overture. With its emotionally charged reflection of the dramatic landscape, it's a work that even the often-critical Wagner acknowledged.
🎻 Max Bruch's style bridges the sounds of Mendelssohn and Brahms, yet his passionate g minor Violin Concerto deserves a standing ovation. This will be performed by the remarkable Kelemen Barnabás, marking a rare opportunity to experience this masterpiece.
🌟 Additionally, we will present Schumann's d minor Violin Concerto, one of his final grand compositions, offering a glimpse into the heartfelt sincerity that defines Schumann’s music, despite its relatively obscure status among violin concertos.

Holders of Philharmonia Hungary subscriptions can avail of a 20% discount on adult concerts throughout the country by presenting their subscription. Note: Discounts are applicable for one ticket per subscription, per concert and cannot be combined.
