Rules, originally from Derby and now living in London, is known for his mix of warm and ethereal sounds, combining influences from house music with an emotionally charged soundscape. He is an artist, producer, and DJ who plays multiple instruments, including piano and saxophone. He has collaborated with artists such as Michael Calfan,
Elderbrook, The xx,James Carter and Sammy Porter. He recently embarked on a solo career that has not only earned him worldwide recognition, but also a new audience for his melodic deep house.
