Although Schæfer has only released three singles so far, they have swiftly made a name for themselves as one of the most daring and exciting acts on the Danish music scene. The duo, comprised of Anna Skov (vocals) and Emil Mors (keyboards), crafts socially relevant, subtle, and playful songs that cleverly critique both the world around them and themselves.

Having toured across Denmark and performed to sold-out crowds in cities like Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Aalborg, the live stage is where Schæfer truly shines, often expanding into a dynamic seven-piece orchestra that invites the audience into a vibrant collective experience. It’s jazzy, it’s poppy, and it packs an incredible punch with its depth, playfulness, and an unstoppable energy.

GAFFA has awarded Schæfer’s concerts five stars, stating their sound resembles indie dream jazz, featuring delightful trumpet solos and choral harmonies. Their performances have been described as nothing short of miraculous! 🌟

By the summer of 2025, Schæfer will have played over 15 festivals across Denmark, including Smukfest, Nibe Festival, and Spot Festival. This year began with their debut singles – “Chefer”, “Venter”, and “Din Yndlingssang” – all garnering significant recognition and airtime on popular Danish radio stations.
