This stunning project features the magnetic vocals of Selah Sue, intertwined with the dynamic sounds of the father-son duo, Stéphane and Elvin Galland. Originally built around the Gallands' musical universe—melding organic grooves, contemporary jazz, and avant-garde production—this collaboration reaches new heights as Selah Sue transforms their instrumental masterpieces into powerful songs that blend soul and electrifying stage energy.
Together, they strike a unique balance: the virtuosity of Stéphane (known for work with Aka Moon, Ibrahim Maalouf), the daring freshness of Elvin (featuring in projects like Damso and Manu Katché), and the unparalleled presence of Selah Sue.
Their first performance at Jazz Middelheim showcased undeniable chemistry, and with an album in the works, they are set for a major tour from March to September 2026. Joining them will be a solid rhythm section featuring Louise van den Heuvel on bass, Stéphane Galland on drums, Elvin Galland on keys, along with Sanne Putseys (Selah Sue) and her exceptional backing vocalists, Stéphanie Rugurika and Judith Okon.
