Shut Up & Write!® at the Glen Park Branch Library

Join us for Shut Up & Write!®—a dynamic writing event designed for writers of all backgrounds! 🌍 Our mission is to foster a supportive community where you can focus on your writing goals in an encouraging atmosphere. The event follows a simple structure: introductions, dedicated writing time, and a wrap-up check-in to celebrate your progress!

What to Expect:

• Arrival: Please RSVP and arrive 5 minutes early to settle in.
• Introductory Round: 12:30 to 12:40 PM; share your name, current project, and writing goal for the session.
• Focused Writing: 12:40 to 2:30 PM; engage in uninterrupted writing.
• Wrap-Up: 2:30 PM; connect with fellow writers and share experiences. Feel free to continue writing until 3 PM, as the room is reserved until then!

Important Notes:
This is a safe space—your writing stays private; no critiques will be given. Late arrivals are welcome—just slip in quietly and check in with our host afterward. Need to leave early? No problem—just try to be considerate as you do so.
