What is Shut Up & Write?
Shut Up & Write is dedicated to creating a supportive environment for writers worldwide, offering free in-person and online events. Our mission is to empower every writer—be it fiction, non-fiction, or poetry—with the resources, community, and accountability needed to achieve their personal writing goals.

Event Highlights:

• Catch Up & Share: We kick off our gathering at 18:00 with casual introductions about our current projects.
• Focused Writing: At 18:15, we dive into our writing, dedicating a solid block of time until 20:00. Don’t worry if you’re running late—just grab a spot and start writing!
• Diverse Genres Welcome: From academic papers to creative storytelling, all forms of writing are encouraged. Bring whatever you need to be productive: your laptop, headphones, or even a trusty pen and paper!
• Post-Writing Discussion: After our writing session, we reflect on our progress and share experiences.

Social Time:
Feel free to mingle before 18:00 and after 20:00, or use that time to continue your writing. We kindly request that attendees order something from the café—be it a drink, a meal, or dessert—to show our appreciation for their hospitality.
