This exciting competition is specifically for young brass musicians aged up to 27, who hold citizenship or residency in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, or Iceland.

• Trumpet
• French Horn
• Trombone
• Bass Trombone
• Tuba

🏆 The competition's winner will be offered the prestigious opportunity to perform as a professional soloist with the Gavle Symphony Orchestra!

📅 Important Dates:

• Final application deadline (including video submission): February 28, 2026
• Competition dates (by invitation only): April 16 & 17, 2026
• Finale (April 17) will be held with a live audience!

🎉 The SIGNAL Nordic Brass Competition is a highlight of the SIGNAL Brass Festival, taking place from April 14–19, 2026 in Gävle, in partnership with the Gavle Symphony Orchestra and the Gavle Concert Hall.
