Dive into an exciting day of competitive fly fishing set against the stunning backdrop of Shenandoah River State Park! 🌊 Join us for the South Fork Fly Fishing Tournament, where you'll enjoy the thrill of angling while supporting essential conservation initiatives. 🐟🎉
Competition Guidelines:
- 🧒 Open to participants aged 10 and up.
- 🎟️ Competitors 16 and over must possess a valid Virginia Freshwater Fishing License.
- 📋 Standard Virginia fishing regulations apply.
- ☔ Event will take place rain or shine, but high river levels may lead to adjustments.
- 🗺️ Only park-designated access points should be used.
- 📸 All catch photographs must comply with guidelines and must be submitted by 3 p.m. at Downriver headquarters.
- 🐾 Leashed dogs are welcome; leashes must be no longer than 6 feet.
- 🚫 Alcohol is not permitted.
Registration Fees:
- Adults - $50
- Children (10-15) - $25
