2026 Spirit of Wartime Sherwood

We are thrilled to announce the Spirit of Wartime Sherwood event, scheduled for 16th & 17th May 2026 at Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire! 🎉

This event captures the essence of the 1940s and WW2, complete with live reenactments of significant historical moments throughout the day!

📅 Event Details:

• Camping: Starting at £50 per unit (includes up to 4 family members for 3 nights!)

  • Maximum of 2 dogs per pitch
  • Features grass camping pitch suitable for caravans, tents, and campers
  • Amenities include water points, Elsan point, showers & toilets!

• Check-in: Friday, 15th May from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM

• Check-out: Monday, 18th May by 10:00 AM

🎶 Saturday Night Dance:

• The Swing Commanders will perform, along with DJ Woody!
• Ticket Price: £15 (Get them quick; they will sell out!)
• Enjoy a fantastic evening in the stunning ballroom, designed for dancing! 💃🕺

☕ Sunday Tea Dance:

Join Dronfield Vintage Dance on 17th May from 14:00 to 16:00 for a delightful tea dance suitable for all abilities, with support for beginners!

• Includes: Cream tea (Fruit scone, jam, cream & a choice of tea or coffee) 🍰☕
• Venue: Riding Hall, located in the Courtyard.
