Spring Heavy Trash Day

🌸 Join us for the Spring Heavy Trash Days 2026! 🌸

🗓️ Dates: April 11th & April 18th
🕗 Time: 08:00 - 15:00
📍 Location: 990 S. Center Street, Plainfield, IN 46168

Plainfield residents are invited to dispose of their heavy trash items at designated dumpsters! Please note the following guidelines:

✅ Items Accepted:

• Household furniture
• Yard equipment (with gas/oil removed)

❌ Items Not Accepted:

• Hazardous waste (TVs, computer monitors, items with freon, refrigerators, and freezers)
• Tires
• Building materials
• Yard waste

For sanitary reasons, mattresses must be disposed of alone—please do not ask DPW staff to handle them.

If you have items such as computers, TVs, and refrigerators, they will be accepted at the Hendricks County Tox-Away Days starting May 2nd at Hendricks County Fairgrounds, concluding October 3rd at Hummel Park. For further details, call 📞317-858-6070.

🗑️ Document Shredding:
Available during the same times, in the parking lot of the Plainfield Community School Corporation (985 Longfellow Ln, Plainfield, IN 46168).

Important: This event is exclusively for residents of Plainfield; please bring ID with your address.
