Join us in Market Square, Stafford for an exciting day of history! This free, family-friendly event will immerse you in Stafford’s fascinating past with a variety of activities and performances that bring history to life.

Event Highlights 🎉📜

• Historical Tours: Explore iconic landmarks such as St Mary’s Church, St Chad’s, The High House, and The Alms Houses led by expert guides.
• Live Performances: Enjoy the Staffordshire Shakespeare Society performing scenes from classic plays at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
• Speakers & Discussions: Engage with local history experts at The Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, covering topics like the history of Morris Dance, Stafford during WWII, and more!
• Café & Stalls: Indoor stalls and exhibitions will run from 10 AM to 4 PM.
• Heritage Site Visits: Visit St Mary’s Church and St Chad’s Church from 11 AM to 3 PM to witness their stunning architecture.
• Bell Tower Visits: Climb the bell tower from 1 PM to 3 PM for a breathtaking view!
• Children’s Activities: Join in on badge making, trails, and special programs at the Staffordshire History Centre.
• Medieval Battle Reenactments: Experience the excitement of history in Market Square!
