Studio Archive: RADIO PANINI x Carharrt WIP with tactual, Katla to Records, Healing Potions

Radio Panini welcomes Carhartt WIP’s Audio Archives into its home at Jolene for their Copenhagen edition moving from afternoon broadcast into late-night club music.

Audio Archives is part of Carhartt WIP’s wider project marking over 15 years of Carhartt WIP Radio through a publication, capsule collection and a global series of radio broadcasts and events, with Radio Panini listed as the Copenhagen chapter on Saturday 28 March 2026.

For this local edition, Radio Panini brings together three emerging Copenhagen labels — Healing Potions, tactual and Katla To Records — each hosting a section of the daytime program. The result is a full arc moving through reading, radio, live performance and club music, rooted in the more exploratory edges of contemporary electronic sound. The event opens with an Audio Archives book reading, before shifting into a sequence of label-hosted sessions and one-off performances.

Healing Potions begins the broadcast section with Asmus Odsat, a longtime Copenhagen favorite whose sets regularly lean into bass-forward experimentation and adventurous club textures. He is followed by A.Dixen (live), the project of Copenhagen’s Anders Dixen, whose work has been described as fusing the city’s experimental undercurrent with a more club-oriented sensibility; recent live material has shown a stripped, minimalist approach with a strong sense of tension and detail - for this one, he will bring one hour of improvised material.

Next, tactual takes over with Jerey Stevenson, opening the hour before Mata Disk (live) brings in a different type of pressure. The Rotterdam artist Julian Determan, aka Mata Disk, has been active across both DJ and live formats, with recent listings and festival appearances pointing toward a sound world that stretches from swirling pads and propulsive rhythmic movement into more forceful club abstraction. For Radio Panini, this section also marks an important step: the first time live electronic performance is being woven this deeply into the program’s structure.

The final broadcast hour is hosted by Katla To Records, starting with Deb Foam and closing the daytime program with Poly Chain (live). Born in Ukraine and now based in Denmark, Poly Chain has built an international reputation through releases and sets moving fluidly between electro, IDM, acid, ambient and more marginal electronic forms. Her presence gives the day’s closing stretch a particularly strong sense of scope: intimate in format, but with a reach well beyond the local scene.

From 23:00, the room shifts fully into club mode. Vika b2b ymse opens the night; as a key figure behind Kune festival and most recently supporting the Healing Potions label operations, as a DJ Vika has appeared across Copenhagen lineups associated with bass-minded, percussive and low-end-focused programming, making this pairing a fitting bridge from the live section into the dancefloor. Freshly returned behind the decks after a long hiatus, norwegian ymse represents tactual wiht her dub infused techno and house.

Mata Disk then returns in DJ mode, extending the thread between live performance and club functionality, before local super star DJ JM meets Simon Tyv from Kora wrapping up the night with deep and funky selection weaving through house, techno and bass.

Across both day and night, the event traces a path through left-field electronic music in multiple forms: spoken word, broadcast, live hardware performance and club-focused DJ sets. A local chapter inside a wider international project, shaped by labels and artists working close to the edges of radio and dance music alike.
