Stuffed Ham Marker Ceremony & Reception (FREE)

🥳 Join us for a momentous occasion! St. Mary's County proudly claims the title of the official birthplace of stuffed ham. A special ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., where we will unveil a dedicated marker at the St. Clement’s Island Museum. This marker honors the creation of this beloved dish, tracing back to the early 1700s, as part of the Pomeroy Foundation’s "Hungry for History" program.

🍴 Following the ceremony, a delightful reception will be hosted at The Potomac Gardens, where attendees can savor samples of locally made stuffed ham.
