TEMPEST Celtic rock : in concert at Lovin’ Cup

Since their inception in 1988, Tempest has enthralled audiences worldwide with their unique blend of high-energy folk rock, weaving together Irish reels, Scottish ballads, and world music influences. Over the past 30+ years, they’ve released eighteen acclaimed albums and performed more than 2,500 gigs!

The show features the original lineup, with founding member and lead singer/electric mandolinist Lief Sorbye leading the charge. After a serendipitous reunion in Berkeley, California, Bay Area native Rob Wullenjohn (guitar) and San Diego’s Ian Butler (bass) have returned to light up the stage.**

Alongside them is Jon Berger, a fiddler from Vermont, who brings his passion for Celtic music, and the dynamic Adolfo Lazo, a Cuban-born drummer known for his inventive rhythms. Together, they promise a vibrant show filled with unforgettable energy! 🎻🥁
