Brace yourselves, runners! BADRAT Runners are thrilled to announce our inaugural club-organized race: the BADRAT Bolt, a fresh addition to the acclaimed Somerset Series for 2026. This isn't merely a comeback of the classic Bridgwater Bolt—it's a revamped experience! 🎉 We've carefully designed the 10k route to ensure it's speedier and more welcoming for those averse to steep hills, while still incorporating a cheeky ascent near the halfway mark to test your stamina and resolve!

The race kicks off at the Chilton Trinity Sports Centre, with the 'just over' 10k course taking you through beautiful lanes around Chilton Trinity. You'll conquer Sandford Hill, glide down into the lanes behind Wembdon, before triumphantly returning to the finish line. We think it strikes the perfect balance of pace and challenge! 🏃‍♀️💨

Every participant will earn a spectacular bespoke medal 🏅 and a generous dose of BADRAT positive energy at the finish! 😄
