TirsdagsClown - theatreclown course on Tuesdays

Join us for an exciting course focused on exploring the multifaceted world of theatre clowns! Under the guidance of renowned teacher and director Antoine Innocente from the University Theater Center (CUT) in Trieste, Italy, you'll dive into the whimsical and surreal aspects of theatrical performance.

In TirsdagsClown, participants will engage in:

• 🔄 Free and technical improvisations
• 🚶‍♂️ Mastering the "neutral" position
• 🧘‍♀️ Body awareness and its application in scenes
• ⏰ Listening to rhythm, timing, and the interplay of action and reaction
• 🎭 Character and costume development
• 🪞 Self and peer observation with an emphasis on makeup techniques
• 📈 Building on previously acquired skills

This course promises a personal and collective journey through comic theatre and the art of clowning, encouraging participants to uncover their own unique styles. Explore the creative process and engage with the body in new and exciting ways!

About Antoine Innocente:
Antoine Innocente has garnered over 30 years of experience in clowning and theatre in Italy. He has collaborated with various artists and boasts a rich teaching background in clowning at CUT and in Denmark. Antoine occasionally showcases his poetic one-man show, "Soul-i-taire", exploring the journey of a solitary soul through the comedic aspects of life.
