Join us on an exciting journey to the European Southern Observatory Supernova Planetarium & Visitor Centre in Garching. This unique destination is adjacent to the control station for some of the most powerful telescopes in Chile, including the one featured in the Bond film Quantum of Solace.

Currently, they are working on the construction of the ELT (Extremely Large Telescope), boasting a groundbreaking 39-meter main mirror, making it the largest telescope in the world for visible and infrared light. The stunning architecture in Garching is complemented by a spacious exhibition area and a state-of-the-art planetarium.

✨ Entry to the exhibition is free, but do note that planetarium shows are €6.50 and tend to sell out quickly, so be sure to purchase your ticket online here as soon as possible!
