About the event
Walk ’n’ Talk combines the joy of walking with engaging conversations among peers. This is not just a silent stroll; it's an opportunity to clear your thoughts and connect with others while enjoying the benefits of mindful walking! 🚶♂️💬
Walking has numerous advantages that go beyond physical health. This practice can help reduce blood pressure, lower your heart rate, enhance your mood, and manage stress, all while contributing to better sleep. Quality sleep is linked to various health benefits, including improved immune function, effective weight management, and heightened productivity! 🌼💪
Meet us at the square located at the intersection of Yurong and Stanley Street in Darlinghurst by 7:15 pm, as we will set off towards Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair promptly by 7:30 pm. The full walk lasts about 45 minutes as we complete a circle back to our starting point. 🕖
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothing
- Running shoes
- A little bit of time for stretching before we begin

- Participation is voluntary, and all care is taken, but responsibility lies with you.
- If you're feeling unwell, please refrain from joining us.
- Manage your own comfort level—this is a gentle exercise, so stretch only as far as feels right for you.
- This group is moderated, not a counseling session, but provides a safe space for peer support.
Important Notice on Weather:
- If there are adverse weather conditions like heavy rain or strong winds, the walk will be canceled for safety reasons. ⛈️
