🌟 Walter's most recent album, In Common III, has garnered praise for its "boundary-pushing" approach, featuring some of the most notable musicians in the industry, including Matt Stevens, Kris Davis, Dave Holland, and Terri Lyne Carrington. In April 2023, he debuted Return to Casual under Blue Note Records, receiving critical acclaim.

🎶 With a remarkable career, Walter has collaborated with legends such as Terence Blanchard, Herbie Hancock, and Christian McBride, gracing major venues and festivals worldwide. He has also been part of several iconic ensembles, including the Roy Haynes Fountain of Youth Band and the Terence Blanchard Quintet.

🎓 A proud Berklee College of Music and Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz graduate, Walter currently serves as Chair of Berklee's Woodwind Department, guiding the next generation of talented jazz musicians.
