Welcome Home, M37!/Anniversary of the Last "Stuart" Light Tank Built at AC&F Berwick

Join the Stuart Tank Memorial Association as we celebrate the return of a truly unique military gem—the M37 Howitzer Motor Carriage! 🎖️

This is not just any vehicle; it's one of only 150 ever produced, all crafted at the American Car & Foundry Company's Berwick, Pennsylvania factory during September and October of 1945. Designed to be the successor to the M7 Howitzer Motor Carriage, affectionately known as the "Priest," this vehicle now holds a place in history!

🔔 Be among the first to see it on public display on a trailer at the intersection of North Vine St. and West 3rd St. in Berwick, PA.

Illuminate this remarkable moment with us as we also honor the anniversary of the last "Stuart" Light Tank built on April 17, 1944.

🕚 Start the day with a short parade at 11:00 AM, featuring our restored M3A1 Light Tank, "Lady Lois", leading the way to the display!

Although the M37 is not currently operational, it appears to be very complete and will remain on the trailer for viewing. It was previously part of the now-closed American Armor Foundation Tank Museum in Danville, Virginia.

📅 The Stuart Tank Memorial Association Museum will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on this special day! Enjoy FREE light refreshments and guided tours for guests. Admission to the Museum is always FREE.
