Hailing from a charming beach town in South Carolina, Winyah has made waves in the music scene since their debut in early 2023. With an exhilarating mix of indie and Southern rock, they have rocked stages alongside renowned acts like The Red Clay Strays, The Vegabonds, and The Stews, and have electrified audiences at festivals such as Bonnaroo!
Each performance showcases their unique sound characterized by mesmerizing guitar solos and soul-stirring vocals, reminiscent of legends like Led Zeppelin and The Backseat Lovers. The band’s name pays homage to Winyah Bay, the beloved backdrop of their formative years, capturing the spirit of their coastal upbringing through music rich with themes of nostalgia and cherished memories.
