Join us for a special Shared Table Dinner in collaboration with Between Us, a thought-provoking short documentary created by final-semester students at the UniversitĂ€t der KĂŒnste Berlin.
Loneliness is a common yet often unspoken experience. In a world fixated on productivity, weâve turned this profound feeling into a taboo. However, facing our loneliness can lead us back to ourselves and forge connections with others. This gathering aims to embrace that very journey!
The evening features the screening of Between Us, a rich exploration of belonging and identity through the stories of three individuals with Argentinian, Eritrean-Italian, and German backgrounds. đœïž Lost in their narratives of navigating loneliness, we invite you to reflect on your own connections.

Expect a warm, potluck-style evening filled with engaging conversations, followed by a community screening (approximately 20 minutes) and a sharing roundâto be enjoyed with delightful desserts!
We encourage you to bring a small dish to share, whether homemade or store-bought: salads, spreads, soups, raw veggies, or sweets are all welcomed! đ« This will be a vegetarian, alcohol-free meal with refreshing Oolong tea and water available. đ”

Monika Jiang, a writer, curator, and community enthusiast, founded The Oneliness Project and has led Shared Table Dinners to explore loneliness and reconnection. Join her and the dedicated Between Us teamâAmina Zaghloul, Daniela Araujo, Jeanna Lee Miller, Luciana Bassallo, and Maya Jolande Palbergâas we gather at C*Space, a vibrant and creative community hub in Berlin.
