How it Works
We kick off with a brief breathing and centering exercise, followed by an engaging rhythm demonstration and call-and-response drumming. After this, we will break into smaller groups for discussion around a shared theme. We will then move into collective jamming and improvisation, concluding the evening with a potluck meal and informal connection.

Typical Meeting Flow

1. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏻 Arrival & social time – 15 min
2. 🙋🏻‍♀️ Welcome, check-in, and centering – 15 min
3. 🪘 Call & Response Drumming & Demo – 20 min
4. 💬 Facilitated Discussion on the Theme (in groups of five) – 20 min
5. 🕺🏽 Open Jamming with various instruments – 30 min
6. 🦋 Potluck Dinner & social time afterwards – 60 min
   This outline is flexible to adapt to the group and setting.

Logistics & What to Bring
We gather in a spacious and beautiful venue. Drums will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we also provide ample small percussion instruments so everyone can join in the fun.
