Hands-On with Claude Code: AI Skills for Non Developers in 2 Hours⚡

What if AI could do more than answer questions in a chat window, what if you could give it a project, ask for changes in plain English, and have it actually edit your files, run commands, and build software for you?

👉 That is Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding agent.
In this 2 hour hands on workshop in Berlin, you will learn how to direct Claude Code to do real work for you, even if you have never written a line of code. This is for senior managers, AI enthusiasts, job seekers, students, and anyone who wants to learn hands on how Claude Code works and how to apply it in real workflows. You will build a simple landing page or internal tool so you leave with something you can actually show, a live example of “I worked with an AI agent to build this”.

🎯 What you will learn
The focus is on learning Claude Code, not becoming a developer. You will learn how to clearly brief it, review its work, and guide iterations using a simple describe, review, accept, verify loop used by modern teams.
• Understand how Claude Code differs from chat tools and how it can work directly on your files and workflows
• Get started in your browser, open a project, give instructions, and watch Claude Code work in real time
• Build good habits, manage sessions and costs, and know when to restart or iterate
• Hands-on, use Claude Code to turn ideas into real outputs, guide changes, and stay in control
• Customize how Claude Code works for you using simple files and commands
Everything runs in a pre configured browser with no setup required. Concepts like terminal and GitHub are explained in simple, practical terms.

• Understand what an AI coding agent is and how it fits into real workflows.
• Have run full end to end cycles with Claude Code on your own small project.
• Know how to give better prompts, make one change at a time, and safely review code diffs before accepting them.
• Be able to talk about context, sessions, and basic git usage with colleagues, recruiters, or hiring managers.
• Go home with your own GitHub repo, your landing page or internal tool, and a simple reference card so you can keep using Claude Code on your own.

🧾 What you need to join
A pre workshop email goes out one week before with the full setup checklist. Participants must arrive with three accounts ready:
✔️ GitHub account (free)
✔️ Claude Pro or Max subscription (required to use Claude Code in the workshop)
✔️ Vercel account (free, you can sign in with GitHub)
Bring your laptop, charger, and any text you might want in your project hub or internal tool, such as a short bio, team or project descriptions, or business copy. You do not need a local code editor, Node.js, or git installed, because everything runs in the browser, and we guide you through the concepts in a safe, beginner friendly way.
