5 Mile Hike

🌳 Lace up your hiking boots and join us for a refreshing 5 Mile Hike at Phil Hardberger Park! Bring a friend and immerse yourself in nature as we traverse approximately 5 miles along the park's scenic perimeter trails.

🏞️ This moderate-level hike features stunning highlights, including:

• The Skywalk
• The Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge
• Our Savanna Restoration area
• The charming Wetland Corner
• The Nature Play Area
• The Native Plant Wildscape Demonstration Garden
• Artistic installments like Golden Age
• Beautiful viewpoints at Salado Creek Overlook and Phil's Tree

🕗 We've planned this hike to take up to two hours, offering a variety of paths, with registration encouraged but not required.

💧 A water refill and restroom break will be available halfway at the Urban Ecology Center. Make sure to wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Remember to stay hydrated!

👥 This event is perfect for adults and teens who enjoy moderate walking on both paved and natural trails. We'll kick off promptly at 8am, so arrive a bit early! 🌞
