Fairfield Horseshoe: A Grand Scale Trail

🌄 Join us for an unforgettable journey along the Fairfield Horseshoe, one of the classic walks in the Lake District! This stunning 10-mile (16.4 km) route is filled with breathtaking views and a challenging climb covering multiple peaks including Nab Scar, Low Pike, High Pike (Scandale), Heron Pike North Top, and more—all featuring 8 Wainwrights!

Prepare for a good workout with a total ascent of 3,543 ft (1080 m) and enjoy the thrill of navigating some rocky sections. This trail is particularly suited for fit and adventurous walkers, and you'll be guided by a knowledgeable Mountain Leader ready to support and motivate you throughout the hike.

🐾 Well-behaved, agile dogs are welcome, although there will be livestock around, and dogs will need to manage ladder stiles. Please arrange your own transport and accommodation if required.
