Since its grand debut on August 9, 1969, this legendary dark ride has enchanted visitors with its chilling illusions and spectral residents. In this engaging workshop, we'll explore the magical role of ghosts in animation, tracing their journey from early hand-drawn spirits in vintage cartoons to the mesmerizing effects that brought them to life. 🎞️👻

Learn how animators utilize solid drawing techniques and straight-ahead animation to conjure hauntingly realistic motion and ghostly effects. Then, in a hands-on session, you’ll get to create your own traditional hand-drawn animations and see these spectral figures joyfully interact with the living! ✍️👻
