Shut Up & Write!® in Potrero Hill

Join us for a focused and productive writing session! Whether you want to pen poetry, craft your resume, conduct research, write a novel, screenplay, short stories, catchy song lyrics, or even work on projects like apps and games, all types of writing and writers of every skill level are warmly welcomed. Rest assured, your work remains private; this event is all about getting your writing done and connecting with fellow writers in your community.

When you arrive, greet everyone and prepare your writing tools. Take a moment to mingle with your fellow writers. Once everyone is settled, we'll have brief introductions where you can share what you’re working on, if you wish. A timer will be set for our focused writing time.

Afterward, there will be an opportunity to relax and chat further, sharing successes and challenges as writers. If you're short on time, don't worry—you can still pop in!

Please note, we don’t facilitate critiques or readings here. This is a safe space for writers of all backgrounds to hone their craft without judgment!
