🌟 Join us on 25 april 2026 from 10:00 - 16:00 at the Museum of Ashe County History for the 4th annual Life on the Homefront living history event! 🚀
Experience history like never before with The Friends of the 40s, who specialize in showcasing civilian life during World War II. 🤝 Visitors will have the unique chance to interact with reenactors and explore diverse displays covering topics such as:
- Civilian defense
- Air raid wardens
- Volunteer nurse aides
- Scrap drives
- Women factory workers
Additionally, A Walk in Their Boots will present a WWII-era recruitment station along with a military display. 🎖️
