Galleri Christoffer Egelund is excited to showcase the remarkable exhibition, “As I Remember” (Som Jeg Husker Det), by the talented Danish artist Michael Á Grømma. 🎨✨

This captivating exhibition features 25 new paintings, an expansive installation, and a variety of linoleum prints. Supported by the Danish Arts Foundation (Statens Kunstfond) and the Poul Johansen Foundation, the collection reflects the profound emotions that art can carry, merging the past with the present.

Grømma’s work creates a unique conversational space between the living and the departed, the country and the city, encapsulating the silence of grief layered with the vibrant echoes of life, including music. His pieces reveal stories of times gone by, possibilities never explored, and the realities we face today.

Born in 1983, Michael Á Grømma holds a degree in multimedia design and has established himself as a skilled artist using acrylics on wood panels, canvases, and linoleum. His artworks have been displayed in various galleries and art fairs across Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands since 2008, and are part of several collections worldwide.
