🌟 About the Artist:
Hailing from Kentucky's bluegrass heartland and raised in Wyoming, Shelby Means is a leading bassist in the bluegrass scene with nearly 20 years of experience spanning bluegrass, folk, rock, Americana, and country genres. Now settled in Charleston, SC, she was part of the influential, GRAMMY-nominated bluegrass band, Della Mae, during her time in Nashville. Shelby's musical journey has taken her to nearly 30 countries, sharing her passion for music globally.
As part of the duo Sally & George with her husband, Joel Timmons of SolDriven Train, and a co-founder of the boundary-pushing band Lover’s Leap, Shelby continues to innovate in her craft. As a member of Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, she won her first GRAMMY for the 2023 album City of Gold. Shelby's talent has been recognized by the International Bluegrass Music Association, earning her multiple awards and accolades.
With her debut solo project set to launch in 2025, fans can expect the same soulful and adventurous spirit that has defined her career.
