This remarkable locomotive, built in 1951 by GM-EMD, transitioned from a powerful F7-A diesel to an Auxiliary Power Control Unit (APCU) after an engine upgrade in 1980. Although it no longer pulls trains, the No. 7100 played a vital role in MARC commuter lines until the late 1990s and now stands as a testament to modern rail technology.

πŸšͺ Explore the cab of the MARC No. 7100 and experience the world of railroading through the eyes of an engineer! Don’t forget, become a B&O Member for free admission to all collection pieces!
